GEF-IWCAM and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

GIS Technology is an important tool for integrated data analysis and management. GIS is used in various components of the GEF-IWCAM Project. In 2007 the Project commissioned a detailed capacity needs assessment study. Based upon this and subsequent stakeholder input, a Road Map was developed. Documents and resources relating to GIS in IWCAM are located here.

The GEF-IWCAM Project hosted its Final Project Conference in Kingston, Jamaica, from 16th – 18th November 2011.

The experiences and achievements of more than five years of implementation were shared and reviewed by project partners and stakeholders.

Toolkit for Institutional, Policy, and Legislative Improvements (Cover)

The GEF-IWCAM Project has published a Toolkit for use in amending and/or drafting appropriate legislation in support of the core objectives of the LBS Protocol.
